This cushion cover is hand painted by Gudiya Mandal, a rural housewife and mother from Darbhanga. She learnt this art from her mother at the age of 12. Since then she has painted bed covers, sarees, bags and cushion covers. She has taught this art to about 10 more rural women in her village. With limited resources, she has shown great enterprise in learning and developing the this ethnic art form from Mithila. The cushion comes with a zip closure and a concealed placket at the back.

For the first wash use Ezee and hand wash. Subsequent washes can be in the washing machine.
